Are You Eligible for Funded Support?
At Kent Equine Facilitated Learning CIC, we never want finances to be the reason a young person cannot access the support they need. Each year, we set aside a limited number of funded or part-funded places to help families who are struggling to cover the cost of sessions.
How to Know if You Might Be Eligible
You may be eligible for funded support if any of the following apply:
-
Your family is experiencing financial hardship
-
You are unable to access other sources of funding or personal budgets
-
Your young person has been identified as needing emotional, therapeutic, or alternative education support
-
You are waiting for assessments, EHCP processes, or other statutory support
-
Your young person is out of school, struggling to attend, or experiencing EBSA
-
You have been referred by a professional who recognises the need for additional help
Eligibility is not based on strict criteria, we look at each family’s situation with compassion and honesty.
What Funded Support Can Cover
Depending on availability and need, funded support may include:
-
Fully funded sessions
-
Part-funded sessions
-
Short-term support during a crisis or transition
-
Reduced-rate sessions while longer-term funding is being explored
These places are made possible through:
-
Unspent income from the previous financial year
-
Grants and charitable funding we secure throughout the year
-
Occasional one-off donations from supporters who believe in our work
Because this support is limited, we prioritise families who would not otherwise be able to access sessions.
